Let’s start with some racquets! Two great racquet options this year for the ladies would beDBS6LP-1 the Dunlop Biomimetic S 6.0 Lite Pink and the Prince Premier 105 ESP. Both of these racquets offer easy access to power and are lightweight and maneuverable. These are easy racquets for players at any level to pick up and play with successfully. Plus, the cosmetics are really fun on each of them! Then, for any higher level ladies competing at the 4.5 level or above, I highly recommend the Head Radical series that debuted this fall. The Head Radical Pro is my favorite new racquet of the year! I love the solid feel and controlled, precise power that it adds to my game. Everyone on our playtest team has really been enjoying these new Radical racquets and they are a great option for anyone looking for a new frame.

Let’s talk apparel. To start, Nike has done a great job this winter with the winter color palette. NWWKSW-PK-3They have items this year that work really well both on or off the court. The Nike Winter Knit Sweater is one of my favorite items right now as it is made beautifully and comes in a Charcoal Grey or Raspberry color. Non-tennis players will even love this one as it can be dressed up or down — pair it with a tennis skirt, comfy capris or jeans! Another one of my favorite items from Nike this winter would be the Winter Therma Knit Jacket — coming in three different colorways, there is one to match any lady’s personal style. It has a sporty, yet fashion-foward look and will keep you warm on the coldest of winter days. Be sure to take a look at the rest of the Nike Winter collection as I think all of these pieces would make great gifts for any tennis-loving lady this holiday season.

Lucky in Love always has a fresh look to offer with its newest Out of This World collection. My favorite pieces are the World Lunar Scallop Skort and the World Cap Sleeve Top. The collection is complete with skort/capri combos for anyone who has to bear the cold on the court this winter. The Bolle Infrared Group is another one of my favorites also has some great pieces for any lady looking for a bold look on the court.

When it came to picking a shoe for this year’s gift guide, I went with a shoe that I would consider my MVS (Most Valuable Shoe) for 2013. There have been many pairs of great AWGSSNO-1shoes this year (Babolat Propulse 4s, Lotto Raptors IV, Asics Gel Resolution 5s, etc.), but the Asics Gel Solution Speed is hands down my favorite right now! Because of the speediness, light weight and colors of this shoe, I find myself not only taking these shoes to the court, but going for runs and wearing them to the gym as well. And did I mention they are even on sale right now — you can’t go wrong here! For players looking for a more traditional, durable shoe, the Stella Barricade 8 is a classy option that comes in four different colors — ranging from the classic white/silver (perfect for any country club player), and then bright orange, bright yellow and navy blue. With a six-month warranty and designed by fashionista Stella McCartney, these fashion-forward shoes are perfect for any trend setter.

BCBP12-1We all know ladies love their bags — so make sure you take a look at the wide selection of bags that we have this year. Whether you are looking for a racquet-brand specific six pack or monstercombi bag, like these bold and bright bags from Babolat or something with style like these fun Jet Tennis Bags  or maybe a lightweight backpack like this backpack from Volkl – we are sure to have the bag for any weekend warrior!

Lastly, stocking stuffers are always fun ways to give a plethora of gifts. Some of my favorite stocking stuffers this year are the Gamma Hand-Print overgrips because they add a colorful pop of style to any racquet — we have a bunch of colors and prints to match with any paint job! Also, any (or all) of the headbands that we have right now would be exactly what I would want to see in my stocking — from Asics to adidas to Nike — we have a headbandshandful of fun colors and designs to add some style to any lady’s look! We also have a bunch of hats and visors for those ladies who need extra shielding from the sun, not to mention a wide range of sunglasses that can be picked up specifically for tennis or can be worn on and off the court! For a sweet treat, check out the various Sugarpova candies we have, and if you are looking for some performance treats, we have a bunch of GU products that have been playtester approved!
